5 Dairy-Free alternatives

If you know me personally, you might know that I am allergic to dairy. Since I have been diagnosed with this allergy, I have been trying to find alternatives that wouldn't make me miss milk too much. Here are my top 5 alternatives that I use regularly!





1. Oatmilk

Listen, I know there are a million milk alternatives, but oatmilk made it to the top of my list for a few different reasons. Oatmilk -- unsweetened -- is the best option when eating cereal. It also has the mildest taste in coffee, so the flavoring comes through.


2. Cashew Cream

Cashew cream is something that I was only recently turned onto. I use cashew cream for pasta sauces and I use it to make my spinach artichoke dip. It is creamy and cheesy and delicious.


3. Kitehill

Kitehill is one of my favorite vegan brands. They have sour cream, the best Vegan French onion dip. If I don't think I have had anything I have not liked from this brand!


4. Miyoko's Creamery

If you are looking for a butter substitute that acts, tastes, and feels like butter then miyokos is the absolute best! She has a cashew cream butter that is one of my favorite butters vegan or not!


5. Gotham Greens

This company is becoming one of my favorites very quickly! They have a vegan ranch that is delicious, but they also have a vegan pesto, green goddess dressing, caesar dressing, tzatziki sauce, and artichoke dip!
