March Reading Round-Up
Each month I like to look back and see what kind of reading month I had and if I enjoyed what I read or not. So, this will be a reoccurring post at the end of each month to share my thoughts on recent reads and to keep a reminder for myself of what I have finished off my TBR pile.

The Plot Is Murder, V.M. Burns
When our main character Samantha's (Sam) husband dies, she decides it is time to stop dreaming and take a chance on opening a mystery book store along with writing her first cozy mystery. She quits her job as a teacher, sells the house she lived in with her husband, and takes a leap of faith.
When Sam's realtor shows up dead on her patio, she joins a team of unlikely friends, and together they figure out what happened to Clayton Parker.
The Bookstore Sisters, Alice Hoffman
I wanted to like this novella, but it did not meet my expectations.
I have read a lot of short stories that contained characters that were fully fleshed out and believable, but to me, none of the characters in this story felt likable or real.
The Witch Tree Symbol, Carolyn Keene
This was a fun, quick read that took place in Pennsylvania and around the Amish community. Growing up around the Amish community in Tennessee, I have to say that the depiction was not very accurate as to how they speak, but she did capture the essence of how the Amish live.
Royally Crushed, Melanie Summers
When Princess Arabella decides to host the new adventure show with Will, they have more chemistry than they know what to do with, even though they hate each other. Will believes Arabella is a spoiled princess who doesn't stand a chance, and Arabella believes Will is a pompous know-it-all who is exaggerating every move they make.
I read more than this, but they are books in series and I don't want to give too much away, so I am going to stop here!
Have you read any of these books?
