Sun Tea
Growing up, we never lived far from the Amish community in Tn, but what many don't know is there is an old hippie commune not far from the Amish!
The Farm, at one point, was the largest hippie commune in the world, and it is only 45 minutes from my parent's house! My mother and I have taken many trips to the Farm over the years, and one of the things she said she used to see all the time was jars of sun tea sitting on everyone's porches. This got me, what are the benefits of sun tea, and why did so many people make their tea this way?
I set out by reading a lot of different peoples opinions on said tea, but what I've come to learn is that it 1. saves energy
2. takes longer, but you don't have to babysit it
and
3. is super easy everyone should do it

I do think that one thing I could have done differently was the amount of either tea bags or steeping time. It was weaker than how I normally have tea, but I think that is mostly user error.
Have you ever made sun tea?
Is it something that would interest you in the future?!
